John Exel This airport is way too small to land a Dash8 and hope you will approve as I do not want to refly after 3 attempts to land
Eric Grindstaff John I would love to, even if it had been a little over -1000 fpm. But -1900+ fpm is a crash. And Wideroe flies Dash 8's in and out of there regularly. From the Wiki page: "The upgraded terminal allowed Widerøe to start serving Narvik with the 50-passenger de Havilland Canada Dash 7. Widerøe replaced their older aircraft with the Dash 8 between 1993 and 1995." Since FSX wasn't released until 2006, then the default airport is a good representation of the real one. The Dash 8 will do an approach at 100 knots. Full flaps and full reverse thrust at touchdown. The Dash will land on runways shorter than that. Also, in the sub chart are numerous other airframes you can use in place of the Dash. E-110 or 120, Saab 340, etc. They're a little smaller and might make landing easier.

John Exel ATCPro and Radar contact do not give proper descent rates and am consequently not able to land properly
